U.S. President Joe Biden invited 메이저놀이터the women’s college basketball championship team to the White House to celebrate, only to have his speech interrupted when one of the players suddenly collapsed.
According to local media reports, including USA Today, President Biden invited the players and officials of the Louisiana State University (LSU) Tigers, the women’s national champions of the 2022-2023 college basketball season, to the White House for a celebration.
In a video released, Biden was congratulating the team on their championship when the crowd suddenly erupted at the podium. LSU Tiger sophomore Samaya Smith fainted and collapsed.

Biden reassured attendees that he would be fine, but the online livestream was cut off just in case. Medical personnel rushed in to check on the athlete, while the White House Secret Service stood guard around the President and the athletes.
Thankfully, Samaya quickly regained consciousness. She wanted to continue participating in the event, but was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
After the situation was cleared, President Biden thanked attendees for their patience and continued his speech.
“Samaya reportedly felt overexcited and short of breath shortly before the event,” LSU said, explaining why she fainted.
