Kim Min-jae (Yongsan High School), Kim Tae-in (Yongsan High School), and Eddie Daniel (Yongsan High School/tall player overlap) are all affiliated with the Seoul SK club, and Kim Min-ki (Songdo Middle School) is a tall player.
Currently, a total of 43 players are registered in the KBL. The tall player discovery program targets players aged 10 to 15 and provides economic support, such as training support benefits and training supplies, once the player has passed a certain height standard and registered with the Korea Basketball Association.
KBL will continue to strive to foster youth through discovering older players and taller players and overseas training projects in order to nurture basketball talent and develop the skills of promising players.
Meanwhile, KBL President Kim Hee-ok delivered encouragement money to the 2023 FIBA U16 national team (head coach Kim Hyun-soo) at the KBL Center on the afternoon of the 12th.
