Samuel Chukwueze, a key player in Villarreal’s run to the UCL quarterfinals, is joining AC Milan.
‘We are delighted to announce the signing of Samuel Chimerenka Chukwueze from Villarreal CF,’ the club announced on its website on Monday (Aug. 28).
Following the sale of midfield ace Sandro Tonali to Newcastle, the Rossoneri have made significant additions to their squad as they look to win the league and Champions League this season. Christian Pulisic, Tijani Reinders, Loftus-Cheek, Noah Okafor, Marco Sportiello, and Luca Romero. Adding Chukwueze to the mix was the icing on the cake.
Chukwueze was dubbed the “next Robben” of Spanish La Liga for his dribbling ability. He broke into the first team in 2018 and has been with Villarreal ever since, scoring 37 goals and 31 assists in 207 games with his trademark dribbling.메이저놀이터
Most notably, in the 2021/2022 Champions League quarterfinal second leg against Bayern Munich, he scored the equalizer just four minutes after coming on as a substitute in the dying minutes of the game to help his team reach their first quarterfinal in 16 years.
AC Milan wanted Chukwueze badly in this summer’s transfer window, and now the deal has been finalized. According to the club’s website, his contract runs until June 30, 2028, and he will wear the number 21 shirt.
