‘Is that a person?’ British man caught climbing to 73rd floor of Lotte Tower

Today (12th), a man in his 20s of British nationality was rescued while climbing the outer wall of Lotte World Tower in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul without permission메이저사이트.

The Seoul Songpa Fire Station received a report from the security team at around 7:49 am on the same day that British man A was climbing the outer wall of Lotte World Tower.

The fire department dispatched to the scene carried out a rescue operation using 11 pieces of equipment and 54 people.

About an hour later, at around 8:52 am, Mr. A boarded the gondola on the 73rd floor and entered the building and was rescued.

It is said that Mr. A was equipped with minimal equipment at the time of the climb.

A firefighting official told JTBC reporters, “It seems that he climbed (outer wall) with his bare hands without safety devices such as ropes.”

Mr. A is said to have suffered no major injuries other than a light abrasion on his right knee.

The police are investigating why Mr. A climbed the Lotte World Tower.
